Before retirement I was a Pitney Bowes engineer, maintaining and fixing industrial size mailing machines - not much use to any members unless you happen to have an odd APS or Flowmaster hiding in the garage - have to be a big garage though. However, I have been known to knock up a pretty fair omelette!

As from march I am an AA roadside patrol man, all I can offer really is good deals on AA membership, PM me if intrested.
I also have a brian james tilt bed trailer which is avaliable to anyone in exchange for a few beer tokens in the north devon area.
many thanks matt

when people ask me for discount I just say "how would you feel if your boss came to you on a Friday night and asked if he could knock 10% off your wages?"

Nobodys had an answer yet.....LOL:thumb2

yes but if you advertise your business surely it's courteous to offer discount.

You could sell on the side as it were, accept paypal gift and keep outside of ebay to reduce selling costs?

Hello and welcome to the site Teal.
Seems like you may be a good member to ask what your views are on the benefits of fitting -'tune-it boxes or other systems that reckon to save fuel and/or improve performance. I have a 3.0ltr auto 53 reg.Terrano, and am seriously considering fitting a tune-it box or any other device that will both uplift performance and mpg. I want to keep the motor but running two cars is now becoming expensive. Any thoughts from you or anybody with experience of this type of system would be very much appreciated. Mike.P

I don't really have a full time job yet:doh but I do photography and fit car electronics/stereos etc:thumb2 I get paid so it's kind of a job:lol

Note: the ZD30 IP is controlled by a CAN bus, unlike the TDi. So a Tunit unit for the 3.0L will be different to the 2.7L.

hi ya everyone i am a self employed mobile mechanic in sussex not that exciting unless the suns out :thumb2

Hadn't seen this topic yet.

By trade I am an airline pilot, flying both short- and longhaul. Not to bad the occasional few days in the sun. :D

Before becoming a pilot I worked as a airframe & powerplant licensed aircraft engineer with a specialization in powerplants. Still hold a current EASA Part66 B1 license.

As a side business to my flying I have a small demolition company and we operate 2 360 excavators and some smaller equipment.

All the above keeps me pretty busy and my project (see Y61 thread) is not progressing as much as I had hoped because of this.
