Y60 engine transplant

Well here's a thing , I've just sold the lump from my patrol
Therefore things will be all systems go on the Trol imminently . Just as soon as the Black Pearl is re-engined , the Trol is in for the chop.
I'm putting a Merc OM606 engine in her and twin charging it . Should be fun :lol

I was curious to know why that engine selection, then i read on Wikipedia and found out that AMG used them so i think i got my answer.... nice choice. looking forward to this.:thumbs

how come not the TD4.2?

The 4.2 would cost a mint to get big power from it. As it stands I can get a grand for the lump. That'll go a long way to tuning the OM606
I'll start a build thread shortly and all will be explained :thumbs
