Start point is now the services at Leeming Bar (A1) - I'll post map reference etc later if no one beats me to it.

Route is not finalised due to weather. If its too wet some lanes will be off and equally if its too snowy/icy some lanes will be off too so I won't be able to put a route down till a day or 2 before I'm afraid.

OK, but some folks in our group may not be contactable on Xmas Eve, Xmas Day or Boxing day - as they are going away (one is going to Lapland, he says!!). Even a "provisional" or "indicative" route would be useful.

Are we too late to join up? Not too sure how to add my name to list so hopefully this post will suffice. Presume start time is still 9.30am at Leeming Bar? Let me know if this has come too late - dont want to mess up the numbers.

No thats fine Fill - either meet us at 9.30 at Leeming Bar or at 8.30 at A1/A64 interchange, if you're further north and want to drop into the convoy as we head north let me know you're mobile number and we can call you at as we approach th erelevant junction on the A1.

Will be joining the A1 at Junction 47 (Harrogate / Knaresborough turn off) so about 20 mins north to Leeming Bar. I wont make arrangements to drop into convoy but will PM you with my mobile number just in case of any problems. There's every chance that we'll catch up with each other on the way up to Leeming Bar anyway.

Paul Bannerman cannot make it tomorrow, so there'll be just me and Andrew Milroy.

Will see those meeting at "J45 A1 (intersection with the A64) at 8.30" and go up A1 in convoy. Can someone let me know which CD channel you will use?
