Brain picking time :naughty

So my air intake is originally behind the passenger headlight tucked behind the front bumper. Cool.

Obviously my front bumper no longer exists, I can see a cubby at the front under the headlight, but dont know if this is my air intake?

If so id best be damn careful playing in water or even puddles for that matter.
Could just imagine a good soak from a puddle going straight in there... :doh

no bumper to bounce the water back...

What do you guys reckon?

Snorkie time :sly

Definitely snorkel time mate - best thing you can do is hide that bumper under water! :D

On my last T2 I had the whole bonnet under water a few times but never sucked a drop of water in but I did have a Nissan bumper on:lol Think it's time for a snorkel for you:augie

Now I wonder what that is going to look like:augie

Cast iron down pipe would be in keeping with the rest of the truck..
Can't possibly use plastic :augie
:lol:lol

It may be that, with your T2 being later than mine, your air intake is in a different place, but mine is in the nearside front wing, behind the plastic liner - it is roughly above the nsf wheel.

There is 2 styles of snorkel i like, one is the lazy-ferret custom :naughty

And the other it square sharp edge drain pipe style :augie

I cant physically get my hand on it, but there is a dark crevice under the headlight, I can only presume this leads into the airbox. It certainly looks that way.

There is the Third dimension you know :sly
Stick it up the inside :naughty and out the roof, cool as

Find some of stinkas old posts and checkout his snorkel.
