The relay is behind the drivers door trim

The relay is behind the drivers door card (mine is a SWB, guess its the same for LWB)
Might just be a motor.?

Is there a fuse for the windows? and does the relay run all 4 windows or is there 4 separate relays? Its just the rear passenger window.

The rear windows go through the disable switch in the center consol and diodes are involved, so it gets complicated, I have sorted some but not all of the problems on mine, but it is not simply a relay problem, Rick

If someone has adjusted the handbrake recently, it may just be a bad connection under the centre console where the disable switch is and the controls for the windows ( except drivers door).
Hope this helps

Harrumph :(

Wife has just announced her rear windows (both sides) have never worked.

I read whats said about the relay, but surely there must be a fuse somewhere before I start ripping frickin door cards off??

....and while we're at it, I can't find the fuse for any lights anywhere (either the underbonnet fuse bank or the one below/right the steering wheel).....I don't need one but it would be good to know where the hell they are?

any pointers??

the front passenger window work??

if not look at switch by hand break

Spray silicone onto channel and runner ,when washing dries out and sticks together.Had to do all mine as i thought front one had gone but disconnect motor from glass and try mechanism,if works its the rubber.

No they aren't even trying to move; I wanted to check fuses before I start dismantling door cards and centre consoles.....its a MkIII so still has the drivers main switchgear in the console instead of the door like the MkIV. :(

Thera alot of connectors for the windows in the console. A wire may have came loose

I just cheaked the handbook, and I cand find the elec window fuse:thumb2

could it be one of the under bonnet ones? or pull every fuse see if any have blown!

trouble is they are all carefully labelled as something else. Can't see any light fuses either :nenau

On of the little niggles I have is that both of my rear windows dont work, has anyone got to the bottom of the problem and fixed them or at least worked out where the problem lies?
