So after having a bad case of man flu 10(Similar to women's flu but 10 times worse:D)and a chest infection.Today i had a look at my driver's side window problem. And the motor/regulator is definitely just clicking.

So apart from that i cannot see anything else, that would cause this problem.I have unplugged and used contact cleaner, and checked all the wiring.
If anyone has a drivers side window motor/regulator to fit a 3 door swb 2000 Terrano,Could you pm me please:thumbs

Banshee is breaking his old 3 door, don't know i he still has it though.

I was but that was a while ago and stupidly I didn't take those out :doh

Saying that my passengers one was scrap anyway's as it had gone lazy...... funny enough so has the passengers side one in my Terrano :nenau

Does anyone else have a lazy passengers side window? I've tried the furniture polish, silicone spray etc etc and all has little or no effect

When mine failed I bought a new one from a company I seem to recall called Electric Windows Ltd. Was a different (and better) design to the original Nissan one, cost around £65 and was a doddle to fit. That was about two years ago, been perfect ever since.

What a man!!!! Can you send us a link or give us some contact details

1997 SWB here, very very slow passenger window (funnily enough, opposite side from yours, as mine is a LHD). Driver side seems to be OK.
Other observation: passenger side window only moves up or down as long as the switch is activated, whereas the driver side switch only needs to be touched once. No idea if this is an issue, or just bad design.

That's normal drivers side is one touch up & down if you hold the switch for a second but will go up/down a little if you just move the switch a tiny bit

drivers door has a relay for the one touch jobbie, trouble is vibration over the years causes the connector pins to go dry joint so often the relay clicks but the power does not go to the motor, cure is to strip the relay and re solder the pins, Rick

There's a breakers in Thorne just up the road from you. He seems to charge £20 for most things. Will be going myself soon as my window motor has gone as well. David.
