where can I get wind deflectors that go over the wing mirrors? The whistling between the wing mirrors and the door is beginning to P me off LOL

mmm i dont get any noise, so whats diferent then. vie a 1999 T2 as well?

Dunno, have read others getting same problem, at about 34mph +.

i used to get this and it was down to the mirror not being quite fidded properly.
i.e. the front and back housing

all i did was gave it a really good squeeze and all been fine since.
took a lot of pressure tho. (i was desperate)

Mundy i've never known the mirror make that noise - try jamming a bit of foam between the side of the mirror and the bodywork to see if that makes any difference, at least you'll where you are/aren't looking....:)

i finally found out where the whistling noise was coming from on my maverick; because my mirrors have chrome look covers on the back, theres a small gap these and the actual mirror. i found that this small gap was causing the irritating noise so covered it with some electrical tape: problem solved!

Yea thats it, If I put my hand between door and the mirror (either side) the noise stops. Would putting silicon over the join stop it?

i guess anything that fills in the gap would work. the only reason i used leccy tape was because it was all i had on me at the time

the mistrals had massive side window deflectors which seemed to encompass the mirrors,
pretty ugly though in my opinion.
