Winch recommendations

In the market for one for my terrano. Brackets and plate are in. Seen some on eBay from local company to me for around £250 13000lb twin wireless remotes cabled. Are these adaequate just to get me outta trouble or not worth buying etc

Winch-it supply some nice packages, If you can afford it go for the synthetic winch rope.

It's over £250, at £330 but well worth it as it's much nicer and safer to handle and use:

My 13,000lb winch was 165 quid. It wont outlast a proper make, but as you said, it'll pull me out of a hole (hopefully :naughty)

Either a winch tray or in my case, rick (solarman) custom made one on the inside of my bumper made from thick steel plates!

I've had a few off Winch It now and can't fault the kit or the company. The last one I fitted about a year back and then I wanted to move the solenoid. I rang up and asked if they did an extension kit or something. When he realised I'd already had a couple off him he sent me a load of bits I needed for postage money :clap
Top bloke, top kit for the dosh and if poss go synthetic

I got one of eBay. Got delivered today but half of it is missing the box had tape on it saying re packed by tnt,problem is they forgot to put the parts back in the box.
Messaged the seller with pictures of what I got.
Just waiting for the response.

You should of signed for it after checking it!! they courier has to wait or even sign box damaged in the signature box.

You didn't sign for it did you!!!???

You should have refused it at the door and then took the matter up with the seller who should then be claiming from TNT for missing parts

seller is getting it collected and giving me a full refund as they have not got any in stock.
ordering one from winch it as soon as I get my money back.a little bit dearer but you get what you pay for.:thumb2

Ebay is easy, you just put a start up a resolution saying that was not as described and all the payments to the seller get blocked until its resolved, you've reported as soon as you noticed and send all the evidence to the seller
Ebay rules its down the the seller to make sure it gets to the buyer ok, not your problem its the sellers problem, but ldo it through the resolution center
