Maybe just the No plate mount bit was cut out:nenau TBH you will prob need to fit a winch before doing any more cutting due to winches being different sizes depending on make & the winch tray but the shape of the MK3 bumper seems the better option to use to hide a winch than the MK4 one
My thoughts exactly which is why I copied Bones ;)

A MK4 one would work nicely I think if you just removed the grill in the bottom of it but trying to reduce it's depth by cutting some of the bottom off would look unsightly I think due to it's shape & the sort of fake over riders either side of the grill

Thanks for the links boys, I've already cut it now though but not takes pictures yet, it's exactly the same and BonesXU1's bumper in this picture except mine doesn't have black plastic it's paint all over :naughty

It could be even beterer with synthetic rope :D Then that roller coaster guide thing can go

Sorry to bring back such an old thread, I hope BonesXU1 see's this :thumb2

I'm in the process of cutting the bumper, I've done the bottom bit but want to know if there's a certain way of measuring where to cut the rest? I don't want to do it by eye, I will 100% mess it up :lol

This is how far I've got

The second bumper I cut a bit off, tried it, cut a bit more and so on with a bit of measuring and a bit of eyeing it up and that was it to be honest.

And I know I should really get rid of the rollers and wire rope but I'm too busy spending money on my Ute. :naughty

Yes it's a Holden with a supercharged LS1 in it. And the car under the cover was my S2000 engined dry sumped Chevette and on throttle bodies which has now gone and been replaced with the ute.

well not an escort then, but same era and just as epic...lovely thanks for sharing..

Nice Shove-it!

I was an apprentice along with a guy who had a 2.3hs Chevette as his second ever car.

Christ that thing was rapid, I can only imagine how fast yours was.

WOW, that is awesome I love that shape, old fella who used to live across the road used to have a brown/orange coloured one, I'd prob rather have the ute tho :thumb2

P.s, castrol colours are the best, followed closely with Konica Minolta moto gp colours from a few years ago
