mk3?

Well it arrived, Its a bit different to petes. Main big difference is no big nice front bash skid plate like his which makes the lower cross member exposed.

Slightly gutted about that but should of asked before hand as saltycrack warned me before. I will have to pop to the local blacksmiths and see what they can do.

Pics to follow shortly.

saltycracks bumper:

He cut roughly where the red marks on mine are as he said:
"One thing I did think was strange was that it was alot deeper on the sides compared to Pete's. It looked naff so I have trimmed it angling up from the centre and round the sides to make the approach angles much better."

We will see how it looks on the vehicle but I may do the same.

Well fitted it today, It's a bit mad max style but does what it's meant to.

Still need to speak to the local blacksmiths about making me a front skit plate to protect the cross member.

Also declared all my mods to my insurance today. :thumb2

Few little niggles, Had to cut some of the left securing metal to fit around a component of the steering. Also the metal on the indicators could be a big longer to secure them. (See pic below)

Also fitting holes are very tight fit, so you got to make sure it's all lined up well. 2nd pair of hands is essential! Fitting a winch next week so it's not quite level yet.
