I do muddy bottom at minestead a fair bit and love it. I live on a 12 mile ox drove which is fun but not as good as extreme off roading knee deep in mud and decent hills to climb. But may be its.just coz my ox drove is pretty tame

Hi Guys,
I did a final check of the routes today.

Daveyboy is leading the standard truck's and that route is all good and as planned a while ago.

I've had to change the modified route a bit however, one of the lanes now has a VR on it and i've also been asked to avoid another lane that is due to be graded by the council (in order to not make it worse than it is).

Its always the case that lanes can change from easy to damaged in a short space of time, especially if its been a bit wet in the preceding months.

With this in mind (slightly different modified route), i don't expect anyone to get stuck (even if wet) but i will have recovery gear with me for the group just in case.

A few have asked about SPTA, we wont be doing the plains on this trip. Basically we start at Devizes and then work our way North East and end up in Lambourn. We will stop for lunch in a large layby for about an hour and this will allow both groups to get together and chat over lunch.

Looking forward to meeting everyone - i'll be easy to spot as i'll be the odd one out:thumbs
