No when we had our own boat I had a means of center rope to rear bollard and fix tiller with power on in gear forward, kept boat tight to side then both of us could do the paddles etc would depend on the type of lock being negotiated but system worked well, some times a fowled prop would cause a problem but not often, Rick

Think I'll stay fri, sat and sun nights, try to get down for midday on fri. Maybe even stop monday night if there is something I want to see or do, like rick says, go with the flow
