Morning Rick,
Mike and I did the proposed routes a short while back.
We should be into the drier season by June. Your 31s should be fine for this outing.

If your tyres are near to slick, and you're opting for Mike's more challenging route, then consider changing over to your studdy's.

Davey

Thanks for the reply Davey, My 31s are Continental Crosscontact just road legal, the 235/75 R15s are Runway Enduro A/T 2 x new 2 x half worn, truck is standard but my rough work motor so not bothered about paint or dents, would need to remove the tow bar, and would like to do the more difficult route, what do you think, Rick

Bring ya knobblies rick that way your covered either way and as for clearance a inch or two surely wont make much difference

Guys, in June, i'm expecting most of the route to be dry so AT's will be fine for group 1 and road tyres will be fine for group 2.

Just one thing, we really need to restrict the group sizes to 5 max in a group (inc the leader).

Leader 1
Solorman.
Madmark
Alex Donaghy
Mr K

Leader2
Blocky10
Kieron Hulatt

Makeitfit unconfirmed

Yep, so 2 spaces left. As no wonder from Pete as yet.

Come on guys this is gonna be great day out and lots of fun

Dunno.if worth a mention but if your coming to this meet and thinking about getting a cb get one! as makes life alot easier out laning as if you run into agro Or get stuck its easier to shout on cb rather than hand gestures that I'm crap with lol. Dont need any thing special as mines just a cheapy with short range aerial which works well as has 2 mile limit.

I have a hand held CB with roof mag mount and cig lighter power supply, works as good as any other CB, used it in Wales with Makitfit, Fezz, barbeast, etc couple of years ago, Rick

Ayup zippy, can you recommend a couple of caravan sites nearby for me, I quite fancy a ride down, 4hrs for me but I'll probably make a weekend of it sightseeing or summat.

Unmodified terrano lwb with bfg all terrains on which are slightly bigger diameter than standard, I'm pretty competent off road but don't want to wreck it.

I am looking at booking in the canalside site, there ar vacancies at the mo, anyone else? Rick
