Hi guys just wondering if I remove my rear arb will the springs move out of position when the wheels are under extreme articulation ? I'm just worried about the springs falling out as I know other trucks use dislocation cones. Sorry for the perhaps silly question but I'm off green laning tomorrow and my rear arb bushes are shot and I was thinking about removing them. To c what its like.

pretty sure standard coils are secured and dislocaters are used where further
articulation is achieved by other methods first.

certainly others have doen the rear arb off previously on standard trucks and
not mentioned this problem.

think you would need extra long shockers first to get into that issue as thats
when dis-cones appear on truck build up specs.

sure concensus is only remove rear arb never front.

ah just thought my troll has rear disconnection of arb aka stabiliser, a button
on dash. tbh never used it on terrain its been over. struggled to remember
to use rear diff lock too which had more use in snow on roads.

you may be suprised what the LSD can do after all even with a wheel lifted
progress is maintained so suspect the need to keep wheels on ground was
more on rovers and such lacking traction aids.

I have removed both front & rear permanently but have now got Disco 1 Dislocation Cones on the rear :naughty As this add's another 1" lift :D

Plus I have plus 2" shockys on the front & rear :sly

On standard shocks on the rear you should be fine as the shock isnt long enough to push the axle at the angle to make the spring fall out :thumbs
