The original tin can filter box is fine, certainly for around 180bhp and 400ft lbs torque- 3l clutch is still slipping! The pick up tube and spigot is far too small, and the stock filter a touch restrictive.

The programmable ecu and initial mapping on a RR was somewhere in the region of a £grand, the VGT turbo, exhaust, wiring, etc etc etc about the same again.

ah sounds nice but a tad over kill for what i need will get the 57i and put it in the standard airbox and try and make up a bigger cold air feed have u got any pic of ur cold air feed pipe sorry it cheeky:augie

I could take a pic, but really its a length of 4 inch flexible hose (off ebay) with a 4" spigot (off cut of thin wall exhaust tube) brazed into the tin case where the oval one used to be.

if your worried about water in the air. then how deep are you going .

on extreme raised air we use the 80mm pipe makeitfit uses guttering mine is flexi hose. our air is from the roof so no water. we use k&n filters in the standard air box modified to take the bigger pipe. everything is nice:sly

give us a week or 2 and we could possibly make a air box up for you with guttering size inlet . or you could do it yourself its simple
