no drum was still where it should be the wheel wasn't lol

Do you mean the drum came off as well as the wheel? :nenau

That's not as outrageous as it sounds. The only thing holding the brake drum in place is the wheel. As I discovered when testing the rear brakes on mine with the rear on axle stands. Oops!
