I suppose this will depend on which era you are from so you can choose 4 in the order of, 1/practical classic, 2/affordable classic, 3/dream classic. 4/ 4x4 classic.
My choices as follows.

1/ Audi quattro UR turbo.
2/ Triumph stag, and i Will own one of these.
3/ audi s1 group B rally car, not that i have the skills to drive it fast...
4/ nissan patrol 60 series swb. (not the y60 but the 1960's era)..

So whats yours????

I've always wanted an American muscle car ideally ac cobra but Shelby mustang would do

Nah, what you want is a 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner with the hemi engine option.

Will out drag any 1980's Porsche 911, and it's the size of a cricket pitch.

Coolest muscle car out.

:naughty

A Wolseley 6/110
An Austin Healey 3000 Mk3
A Thornycroft Antar
An old Wrangler with all the mods.

I'm very lucky to own a 1972 Triumph GT6, and also up and coming classics are a 1995 Toyota MR2 NA and 2003 BMW Z4 3.0 roadster. I owned a Stag many years ago, best V8 sound track in my opinion

I would like a Ford Fiesta XR2 MK1

Dream Line up !

1) Opel Commodore Saloon 2.8 GS/E circa 1977.

2) Mercedes Benz 300 CE Pillarless Coupe W124 type circa 1990

3) TVR Vixen 3.0 litre.

4) Nissan Terrano r3mR 3.0 litre wide boddied Limited edition.

A Jaguar XJS with the V12 engine, and all the fuel paid please.

Or, money not considered, and only based on a classic car: the Eagle Low Drag GT.

I'm an old school ford fan at heart so it'd have to be a mk1 or 2 escort.
Closely followed by a lotus sunbeam ti, corolla ae86 or a 70's skyline.
There are many old school that I'd happily own but we'd be here all day

Speaking of classic cars, do people prefer them restored to factory condition or modified?

Factory for me please.

MG B GT, oh yeah I already do own:thumbs

A mint condition Terrano

Grey Fergie Tractor, does this count:doh

You can't have the tractor, or I want a Small hovercraft, and a Hagglunds bv206. :D:D

I like personalised Factory.. So it can have things like Spot Lights, Trims, and minor mods to engine and running gear, just like a "Normal" person would have done in the era, but not these ripped apart things, where they then stick an old body on a custom chassis, with some American planet killing noisy lump in it, and basically the only bit that is still original is the boot lid.

Jeez you sound like my wife, she says I can't have that tractor too:lol

I hate to see classic cars ripped open because there are so few left. When I see old vw's with the roof lowered and small windows, eek.

Still each to their own I suppose.

Careful, the Americans were running engines on unleaded waaaaaaay before Europe.
