Got mine stuck in mud today going Into the field put it in 4 high just back wheels spinning so tried reverse and still same tried low box and same but it jumped into neutral then reinhaged low box and all it pulled itself out ok in 4 wheel drive my main suspect is the hubs tight with lack of use but this has done this a few times now so need to sort it out

yep hubs need sorting no question, Rick
 
I had a sticky hub due to lack of use got told to poor no more than an egg cup full of oil into them & it sorted them out straight away & never had another prob from them
 
Let the oil sit in the hubs for maybe 5mins then poor out any excessive oil. The grease can go thick over time if not used & the oil just thins it out a bit. I worked for me so is worth a try
