Among many things, I am doing a service on the Mk1 Terrano, so I ordered the bits from the motor factors round the corner, Air, Oil, Fuel Filter, Thermostat, 10litres of oil, and some spray on grease. Just as I am parting with my £85, the guy next to me is ordering 8 litre of oil and a filter for his SLK... The Oil was £55 per 4 litre container...
I just said, "Wow, I like my truck"...:lol:lol:lol
Been busy doing all the odd jobs on it so far, all the odd jobs that people seem to allow to go on an older car.
I have fixed the Drivers side Head light, where the bulb was not being held in properly, plus changed the bulb connector, as it was a bodge job, Fixed the non-working side light, and put 2 instead of 1 screw to hold the indicator in. I fixed the Head light washers, sorted out the wiring issues for the alarm and central locking. Just sorting out why the map reading lights are not working, thought it was the bulb, but I think it may be the switch now.
Managed to source a spare wheel carrier, and a towbar, so will be fitting them and sorting out the rear N/S door electric window next, after the service of course...
Then a good Clean, and I can start to add some lights...
