Noticed some runs of water on the n/s footwell carpet Any ideas chaps Have seen this once before when it was in the middle of winter Could this be coming from the air con

Ta

heater matrix..

or

under the cover at the bottom of the screen

or maybe suroof drain..

yup, id check sun roof drain first, thats the easiest, but also open your bonnet, and look at the area where the sir con pipes enter the glove box area-I dont have air con, but I did have a water leak in through the rubber grommit, I simply re fitted it, no more leak.

Overflow pipe for aircon gets blocked with crap and leaks to n/s footwell.

ive had 2 terranos both had same water leak on passenger side ..mine was coming in through heater fan...to fix remove wiper arms and plastic trim underneath on passenger side theres a metal plate held down by 4 screws remove plate.below this is the heater fan water passes the seal around this plate and the screws that hold it down.i siliconed around plate and a dab in each screw hole.....rebuild job done

Mind, we have had some serious rain just lately, so not surprised if there have been a few leaks sprouted

Yes that's where mine was coming in.
To be more precice, it's the lower right screw that leaks, as a small puddle of water is trapped, over the screw head, the seal perishes.

If This drips through, the other screws if they leaked wouldn't matter as they are diverted away.

Me too, mine looked like some sort of water feature after a good Scottish spring day, that screw in particular was rusted in, couldn't shift it, but copious amounts of goo has sealed it up nicely. :clap
