Anybody think of a possible place wher a mav td might spring a water leak ?

it seems to be coming from thre underside of the inlet manifold but struggling to see its origine.

Are you sure it's def not the water pump? the water might be getting blown around the engine bay?
Mine and others have dripped on to the floor in the centre when stood still for a while.

I dont think so I have managed to trace it back as far a bolt bout 22mm which can be seen from under neath if looking between starter and fuel pump but seems as if it could be coming from higher up than that!!

I would tighten up all your hose clips to start with as I have found that the alloy contracts far more than the rubber hoses & mine sprung leaks when the weather got very cold:augieput a does of radweld(can't think of the make I used now) & it has stopped happening:DBy the sounds of it it may be the inlet/outlet heater hoses:rolleyes:

yes mate I was thinking tha myself today and gonna whip intercooler off and make sure they aint ripped as they go underneath the cooler

iirc there is 1 or 2 metal hooks that the pipes fit into so it may have rubbed through one of them a bit

could well be as thats my big idea of what it could be. I am off work tomorrow so gonna have a quick look and see whats going on.

If only I had bought a car ready to use but then it would not give the same satisfaction.
