water leak

hi chaps
Has anyone had trouble with the rear tailgate door seals letting water into the cabin had a look under the rear rubber mat and its wet through with some rust that i will need to sort can anyone tell me where i can get a new rear door seal as i suspect a second hand one may cause me the same problem, or has any one got any ideas.
I have tried to use some vaseline to revitalise the rubber seal but to no avail, I have even sealed under the plastic trim that is screwed and holds the rear mat in place as it was leaking under that and now the water when it rains etc runs over the top of the plastic trim so it must be the door seal.
May just have to start wearing wellies..............

yes I had this problem, the top rubber was sealed with mastic to the body and this had broken down, tried silicon mastic but it did not stay bonded, so tried gutter sealant, (stays sticky) and not had a problem since, Rick
