After a drive about the lube must have worked its way in the mechanism a bit, it's whisper smooth now.

Funny yon mention clutch, I have noticed in certain conditions the clutch will slip slightly.. :doh

Looks like something for my to do list.... £££££ :doh

Start getting the bacon butties in me thinks, it worked for me when I worked in a bits dept :thumbs

I'm not sure how happy one technician would be on a Saturday morning to fit a clutch 8-12 am :lol

That's our "fix our motors" day, only one tech in at a time.

I have heard about it being pressed properly and making sure it's lined up correctly??

Also if I'm gonna look into doing this can the lay shaft bearing be done at the same time. Mine makes a horrid whuring noise under load when pedal is pressed down for gear changing, or are these separate areas altogether ? :nenau
