Vibration.!

Put some dislocation cones on the Mav 3 weeks ago & shortly after got a vibration...
Me being me, i ignored it :doh :augie
Anyway, over the past 2 weeks, it got worse :nenau
So, i did what i should of done 3 weeks ago & took a look underneath
Didn't need to look much when i saw my rear UJ at the rear end of the Prop was hanging on by 1 pin :doh
Anyway, called www.milneroffroad.com :bow Saturday morning & for £17.50 & turned up this morning
Dropped it down to my M8's & all done & dusted within 2 hours

Just thought I'd post it in case anybody else gets the following symptoms :thumbs

Vibration through acceleration pedal from around 50mph - 70mph

Vibration at rear on acceleration

Steering shake on hard braking

Had props go before on lorrys but they normally just go bang due to work loads as opposed to breaking a pin & wearing out so was amazed at all of the above symptoms.....

Hope this helps somebody at some point :thumbs

Will do, its not that hard & would of done it myself but as i have the kids this week & his quite with a ramp free, couldn't see the point of struggling on the floor :augie plus I'd wanna get the grinder out :lol :lol :lol

Just needs some sockets,. hammer, vice, cir clip plies & job done :thumbs

4 post ramp

vice

small 20oz hammer

cir-clip pliers

elbow grease to get the old 1 out (i wanted to use the grinder :naughty but Paul said NO )
