hello all my question. upon starting my 96 maverick first thing in the morning when cold the cars interior dash,door cards,and everything else vibrates like mad stops when i pull the hand throtle out a couple of clicks and when engine warms up its fine is this normal thanks

yep sounds normal to me for the diesel lump, that's why they gave you the hand throttle, Rick

Check the glow plugs.

The shake rattle and roll is worse as more glow plugs fail.

Nothing to worry about, I have this, mine sounds quite chattery too, tappets more than likely but fine when warm
