hi guys, thought I would revisit this issue I reported ages ago.
Originally I thought this vibration type noise I get, under load (for example, third gear at 20 mph-30 mph) was from the knackered flexi pipe - this has since been replaced.
The noise is still present, and the best I can describe it is say if I am going up hill, switch from second to third and accelerate there is a noticeable vibration that isn't the engine itself, or the fan. The vibration goes away when the revs get higher and I reach an appropriate speed for that gear.
I don't have any other issues, just that noise/vibration - which isn't as bad as it used to be but that could be how I drive now I am used to this Terrano.
Can anyone suggest anything I can check, to try and narrow down what could be causing this noise? Its does sort of vibrate the cabin a bit - it is very like the engine underload, like if you were trying to crawl up hill in fifth gear, but I can hear the engine and that is coping fine...:bow
