i cant believe it. i woke this morning to find the bonnet and complete left hand side of my truck covered in paint stripper. im thinking its just kids as ive only just moved down here and havnt had the chance to piss anyone off yet. but whos kids are these? they must have parents. who brings up their kids to think this is acceptable? ive got three kids ages ranging from 11 to 16 and they wouldnt even dream of doing something like this. its going to need a complete respray. i just dont believe it. are people that jealous that they hate others having nice things? my kids love the truck and are so upset. my son only cleaned it yesterday. people just astound me sometimes. does anyone on here know of a cheap spray shop capable of doing a cheap blowover?

Really saddened to hear about this! It beggers belief that people would do such a thing. Hope you can get an affordable respray soon.

Sorry to hear that, it's such a lovely motor. Hope you told plod and I hope they catch someone for it. There are some nasty people out there. My son had his car stolen and crashed in February,bloke that stole it went to school with my lad and lives just down the road. He got a few cuts in the accident but unfortunately nothing serious. Family were told by the council the three sons had to move out or else the whole family would be moved. Sons left but still return to visit. My lad is down about €2000 as he didn't claim on his insurance. Hope it doesn't cost you too much to repaint.

Hi dosent it just pxxx you off if i thought my son did something like that id have him down the cop shop faster than lightning and he would be paying for the re sparay.Unfortunately is a sign of these modern times NO RESPECT

mate if i had the cash i would have made you an offer allready. your trucks lush. ive only got 1200 and wouldnt insult you buy offering you that.

sorry i cant get the pics on this bit as i dont know the url but ive put them on my albums if you want to have a look. my missus is gutted as she loves the truck so i would prefer the same colour.

Sorry to hear about your truck, its about time they brought corporal punishment back into schools, never did us any harm, and taught us to have some respect. Hope you manage to get it fixed at a reasonable cost.

sorry to hear about your vehicle, what is so sad is that this was prior planning to get the paint stripper and go in the middle of the night and vandalise your jeep.

i had a new bonnet needed spraying but the way i believe it's works is that the 2 wings will have to be blown in as well otherwise it will always be noticed if you only do where its damaged, i had the job done for £300, the paint was £80 as i got in the price the bumpers and a spoilers sprayed.
