ive just been loading maps os maps on my tablet and covered pretty much the whole of Yorkshire dales.
there is some very long lanes and quite a few close together. deffo enough to plan a day out, maybe a camping weekend.

is there anyone on here familiar with any of them? use them regularly?
or at least know any that are suited to slightly modded trucks?

I would love to go up there for a weekend in maybe august (im flexable)

is there anyone on here prepared to lead a few trucks?

if not I would like to do some of them anyway and can lead a truck or two. but It will need research on the lanes first. I would hate to lead people into trouble.

any sugestions

Judd you live up that way. any help?

The North Yorkshire moors are my back yard:thumb2
can do you a good tour 80miles plus lunch stops.
let me know would be more than glad to lead a group:thumb2

There're plenty of places local to drop your Tin tent or camp and loads of local points of interest. Midweek or week ends I get holidays too.:thumb2

I've done & have most lanes for Cumbria...

Cumbria could be good, my son is doing 3 open water swims, june, july, august to raise money for some sports wheel chairs for his school. these are in derwent, ulswater and coniston so If i could combine those trips with a bit of laning that would be awesome:augie

:doh Thinks I need to start a new thread to get some sponsorhip from club members or do a sponsored guided tour of the Noth York moors.:clap

I could do Yorkshire mate. bod over to the lakes and stick a tent up in the hills and watch the swimming the next day and maybe a couple of lake lanes thrown in:D
total cost of weekend for me £120 fuel plus a little sponsor money:thumb2

Would be well up for coming down bud but I'm taking the Clydesdale to the Royal Highland Show outside Edinburgh the week/weekend after the Wales weekend.

It'll be 4 days of showing the horse, early starts and later nights with a fair amount of beer and whisky thrown in, even more if we get placed in our class

What with Wales being right before I reckon I'll have to rest the wallet for a bit :(

have got a route for the Yorkshire dales but would have to research it to see if all the lanes are still legal to drive.
