Wow, well that escalated quickly.

It seems that the view of this community being a light-hearted and welcoming place may not actually be true.

"Bad attitude, bugger off"
"A trol with a trol"
There was another one referring to my truck as a "rickety old trol."

I'm sorry if my highly sarcastic comment hit a nerve. (If it did, get a f'kin life and lighten up - it's only the internet....)

Pot to Kettle ..over

As an avid forum user, I feel ashamed to have to create such a thread...

However, I've been an 'unpaid member' for a couple of weeks now, but seem unable to post in any of the forums on here, other than in this section.
I also cannot send PM's, search forums, view uploaded pictures or see the for sale section.

Is my account not activated, or do you just have stupidly stringent rules on here?

Either an aggressive opening gambit or trolling?
You can't really blame people for being a bit defensive after this, but most of the replies seem to be quite lighthearted.
I go for trolling btw. :)

:lol I know these guys mate and I know they are all kidding!!! It's a great forum bro and I'd be happy to have you here, and I'm sure they guys will agree that there is not one member on here with a bad bone in their body against another Nissan owner :thumb2

Now play nice boys before I have to shut the pub and send you all home :lol :bobby:

Oh and I haven't had use for this one in a while, so leave him alone and :stopbeing:

:lol :lol :lol :lol

I think your first line in your first ever post may have got you off on the wrong foot here, I quote " or do you just have "stupidly stringent" rules on here? "

We are a family forum, gents, ladies and youths read some of the threads.
Some of the moderation is done by the moderators, but most is actually done by the members them selves, I personally help to advise on safety issues, if I think someone is doing something a bit risky, I will point it out, why? because I care, others are better suited to mechanical engineering, and if they involve a hammer, the bigger the better. lol We also close down on bad language, either written or implied, the whole of this thread does not represent our normal threads at all.
In addition, we don't mind other trucks being posted on here, the variation is great, we have discussed the odd Volvo on here before lol, :lol:lol but we lightheartedly have an objection to L**d R****rs, :lol:lol:lol So when your first picture post clearly shows one....boy oh boy.:lol:lol Red Rag to a Bull lol:lol
Now if it had broken down, and not been used for three months, then that would add to the humour.
I have written this to add a bit of humour, to help take out the poor flavour of the postings on both sides.

Anyway, maybe Cooper4x4 we can start again, you are still most welcome to join.

This is fab. I reckon this is the longest thread I've seen that hasn't been a project or an event.

Who'd thunk we'd rattle on this much about so little (£10!).

:roflol:

That's gotta be worth it just for this thread!

I'm in a good mood anyway, just had a blowout Indian in Stratford upon Avon.

Mega-nosh!

:)

Any-hoo, c'mon bloke, join up and join in.

Oh how I miss a good Indian meal........doesn't exist out here in the French sticks....there is a small enterprise miles away that sometimes comes remotely near, but I have to wait until back in UK......:(
