Perhaps the listed pressures vary dependent on the model/year of manufacture - mine, showing F26 & R28, is a '94 pre-intercooler, which I believe is the same as Makeitfit's?

best method is to inflate your tyres to what you think, drive 30 odd miles and check the pressure it should be 4 psi higher, if more then you started with too much if lower then not enough to start with, obviously take note of sun on tyres before starting, but the basic rule is tyres should rise by 4 psi after a run if correct pressure to start with, Rick

Rick, how can that be across all sizes :nenau Surely it's a figure related to the volume of gas being heated and so would vary with diff tyre sizes won't it :augie
I await an education :lol

I run 26/26 or 26/29 on 16"s

and did same on old t2 with 15" as otherwise
found the ride too hard if any higher.

with more than 26 on front the steering is more
precise but also suffers more from bump steer.

tyres are first line of suspension, keep em low
and stop the truck rattling, as much!

odd, mine says:

and currently the tyre is at about 28 psi, and this is the tyre:

the other tyre at the rear has much, much deeper tread in the middle!

Those are very thin people in that diagram, It was a good Christmas and I'm sure I and my passengers don't look like that :D anyway, would heavy buggers in the vehicle make all that much difference to tyre pressure? :nenau

Speak for yourself, I look just like those in the picture......

I tow trailers alot with myn so always have tyres at 30 psi.

Set of Pirelli scorpion at's lasted 37,000 miles and 2 tyres were not completely nackered even after that.

Pressure is to do with what use the vehicle has, if empty all the time psi can be lower but if hitching 2 tonnes to the back psi should be higher to retain control
