Sorry why approach Nissan as they make vehicles not tyres.
They only put on the best deal at the time, and you'll find that each year they might have a different tyre supplier.

What ever brand you are running go to the manufacture of that tyre.

e.g. If you are running Bridgestone ask Bridgestone

well im bowing out of this one as it appears no matter what i say some one will get the wrong end of the stick! or use it as an opportunity to try and claim the moral high ground, and the way this police thing is developing i dont want anyone to say 'he told me to do it'when they end up in court.

at the end of the day they are your tyres put whatever pressure you want in them

and as for experience. as my old grandad used to say you cant, sell it, you cant give it away, people have to earn it for themselves :!:

Wow,

What a responce to a simple subject like tyre pressures (or not so simple it seems).

Thanks for everyones input.

Regarding tyre pressures, what is everybody using to check them anyway ?
Go to the garage forecourt and the gauges are way out.
I have several gauges, one digital, three standard type, one on the compressor tyre inflator and they are all different. (a range of up to 5 psi)
I use the one in the middle....

Regarding the ones sold to the police, unless they have a calibration certificate they cannot be used in court, I guess they want them for their own cars.
