Yes ,this is Pentrez beach, about 20 mins from us you hire them by the hour, and there is about 3 miles of beach to run on:thumb2

No, but I keep seeing them and thinking I would love to have a go, so I think it would be great fun to do on a day out.:clap Its on the Crozon peninsula from there you can see all the Napoleonic fortifications and the German submarine pens at Brest

never done that either so I will be up for that, sub pens at Brest, I remember the ones at Bordeaux they used them for wine storage cos they could not demolish them, I also remember a pill box on the way out from Calais there were two guys with air hammers on top trying to break it up I was on a two week trip to Italy, when I returned they were still there and hardly made a dent in it, Rick

There are loads of old bunkers round here on every beach, some you can still go in, a friend of ours has one in there garden it was gestapo HQ in Morlaix . Our house had Germans billeted in it ,

This is a bunker and beach fortifications near Guidal Plage on the west coast. If you look at the first shot that is my son Brad in the middle and he's 6'4'', shows the scale of the things!
