Turbo?

Just test drove a 99 T2 2.7tdi same as my current road car however,

this one wasn't as pokey as mine, the turbo didn't seem to kick in like mine does, it would be ok most of the times but a couple of times - nothing just didn't kick in, would this be the turbo on its way or the intercooler? if so any idea on costs to repair

Well the intercooler just a glorified radiator with air in it instead of water, so nothing to fail really.....

Might just be that its had little use - when I got my newer truck in Jan it ran like a sack of spuds til I thrashed it for a few miles, now its storming....these trucks definitely benefit from having miles put on them regularly.

Think a whole turbo is only 60-80 quid on bay, have a squint....

it might only need a service, filters etc, or an air leak so turbo boost is being lost. i should'nt think it will be to much to sort out.:thumb2
