Ah bum...I thought the fuel pump was in the tank and was expecting it to pump something out...

Do you mean my immobiliser light...with key out it is flashing as normal...with key in and ignition on it goes out and doesnt flash...

no pump there put pipes back on and bleed system ip will still draw fuel through once u bled system up and send it back to tank via the return pipe even if no fuel at injector as the ip has a lift pump built in to it that's y u don't have pump in tank

Okay will do that...just gunna go get some clear pipe so I can ensure there is no air

sounds like its working properly then but u still want toc if u have voltage on the stop solenoid at the top back of ip but u need to bleed system up with hand primer first to get fuel back up to the ip pump

I cant even see any wiring to ip...how far or where abouts is it...do I need to remove owt to get to it?

its tight but u can get to it with out moving anything look through drivers wing it the part of the pump with all the injector pipes coming away the stop solenoid should be on top of this part u have body lift if so a lot easier to get to

What the hell is going on....?
I have put some clear pipe on outlet from fuel filter tightened the jubilee clips and now when I try and prime it by pumping the top nothing is coming through...and I have pumped vigorously...i have checked underneath and there doesnt appear to be any damp where the pipes may be leaking...

Its okay I have sorted the primer problem...I dont think I was pumping hard enough...

So...I whipped wheel off climbed under and between the chassis and inner wing, located IP solonoid with a single wire attached with a little nut.
Checked with test metre and there is no power showing, however, when I turn ignition on there does seem to be a click from somewhere...if that makes sense?
So what does no power mean?

Well if no power no fuel to injectors have u bleed system up to ip yet

Yes all bled...

Take return pipe of ip then try and start it with some1 watching the return on the ip u should get fuel running out this tells u ip is turning and lift pump in ip is working as long as u have bleed up to the ip but if u say no voltage at soliond sounds to me as if the immobiliser or ecu not allowing it to start thinks its being stolen

Ok...return pipe removed, spun engine over and fuel trickled out of the return pipe on the IP, but only a very small amount...
So do we think its immobiliser based...like you say it thinks its being stolen perhaps?
So what do I do?
Can this possibly all be linked to my back pressure issue??

I wouldn't say it was related if immobiliser is the cause but running the battery flat might of upset the immobiliser will it lock and unlock with the blipper
