Turbo help!?!?!

Hi guys I need some advice.
I was driving back from Gosport today and the truck seemed to be losing power after about 2000rpm in 2nd and 3rd gear but seemed OK in 4th and 5th? I have just put a treatment of Redex in on the weekend and thought "It's just flushing out all the crap" however it got progressively worse the further I went.

I have a 1992 terrano R3MR 2.7TD engine

My questions are:-

1) can I disconnect the turbo and just run the engine like a normally aspirated engine? :nenau

2) does anyone have a cheap secondhand turbo for sale? :bow

I have a spare turbo, I bought it from cncfabs but never fitted it to mine.
My problem turned out to be something else you see, I paid £80 so if you want it you can have it for the same.

No MAF on the 2.7TD engine, only on the Tdi.

You have a fuel supply issue, no anything with the Turbo , so step away from that area.

Change the filter and check for leaks / air ingress.

Cheers Timbo, I got a new fuel filter on the weekend so I'll give that a try

You have a fuel supply issue, no anything with the Turbo , so step away from that area.

I had a similar problem, it was the fuel pump filter, workshop 10 I think

Very little chance, it could be the EGR valve stuck open, there is a download on that one.

It could possibly be the mini filter for the fuel, there is a download on that one too. It is in the fuel pump on the engine.

Or fuel issue, air getting in, but you tend to get rough running and white smoke when you rev it at tick over.
