Lol.
Did you say you fixed your power box thingy?

I have indeed, check Post #29 with pics :naughty :naughty

Still interested in these little gizmos though just so I can work out what it does

My truck is still in garage waiting for me to put the rear arb back on and fix an exhaust hanger for the test, when I get her back I'm going to give her a couple of good runs then maybe get one.

Keep us posted old chap :thumb2

I've managed to get mine working again :bow :bow :bow

This is what mine looks like, I'd love someone to be able to identify it, all I know of it as is a "Powerchip" I brought it from Puddle Hoppers Inc if anyone remembers him, I might hit the search up to see if he ever posted any info about it.

Put it on the highest setting earlier and I keep managing to lift a wheel every time I corner under acceleration :lol :lol

I'd be interested to see pictures of the tuning box that George is selling in comparison to mine :nenau

Mine has 4 wires to the Bosch IP harness and 1 to the MAF so looks like mine increases air and fuel maybe?

Have you thought about copying that. Doesn't look like there's many components :thumb2

I'm interested to see one to pit it against my Powerchip and whichever one wins stays fitted!!!

Then I'll sell the inferior one :naughty

I was going to try one as well as my Tunit box but going manual pump negates that :D

I got one of these today, george fitted it for me, my truck now goes muchly fasterio :D:D:D

Have done about 50/60 miles since fitted, 30 odd on the M62 rest on B roads, I thought I was going to take off going down the slip road for motorway :lol

When it was first fitted the tick over was a bit lumpy when stopping for lights etc but that seems to be sorting itself out, the more I have driven it the better it's gotten, it's the best £50 I've spent in a long time!

I'll be interested in looking at this Dougy boy when I see you next :sly

I'm sure I'll be able to work out what it's doing :naughty

:lol I don't think it's any big secret, it will all be getting very well hidden and sealed from the elements soon though bud, just thinking of good hiding spots for the adjuster :thumb2

Take some pics of the internals dude before you do :thumb2

The box itself is already sealed and full of epoxy resin and silicone... up to you if you want to try open it....

It's doing same as your box but for alot less money.

If that's the case then carrying out a repair on it will be impossible? That seems a bit odd to me that the whole thing would have been injected with silicone and resin, I don't understand why that has been done if not to try and obscure the internals :nenau

Mine is fully waterproofed but still gives me the option to open it and remove the circuit board for repairs and is also firmware up-gradable, does yours have this capability?

I think it needs looking at in context, it was £50 fitted, makes my truck go faster and I have a control knob in the cab, which will soon have a lego head on it :D
