Zexel diesel pump
If you ring the Tunit guys direct, they usually have what they call trade ins, refurbed etc. Still g/teed and go for around £200/250.
They work a treat on mine and Luvgluv's motor.
This ebay one probably does the same thing though:thumbs
The figures dont stack up though as the TDi is 125 bhp to start with:augie
However if they do "actually" get you 25% extra power I'd have it now
so how about this 1 http://www.donatorstore.eu/shop/ind...fo&cPath=3461_1368_3160_3161&products_id=7087 sorry same company but their website not ebay and yes rang them and none in not exp any in till the turn up so could be 3 days cpold be 3 years
i will buy the speed box then and try it will let u no how i get on thanks for the replys:thumb2Yes looks interesting, it implies there's a wifi switch off mode to
Seems a bargain not to be missed. If it works well I'd sell my tunit and get one too:thumbs
go for a re-map its a lot safer:thumb2

As Len Fairclough used to say, "thumbs up"....
Tunit works a treat.:thumb2:thumb2:thumb2
And ditto with the "whats not safe about it?" A remap is not a good idea on these trucks IMHO because they seem susceptible to changes in ambient temperature and things like fuel. I have to tweak my Tunit back a notch to stop it 'fluffing' on the overrun when it gets cold or when I run SVO mix. You can't do that with a remap :nenau
I don't know the unit that Geoff is looking at and I'd be tempted to get some feedback from someone who's used it first....plus it looks like it connects to an underbonnet diagnostic socket that not all the T2s have (the Tunit is piggybacked into the ECU wiring loom).
hi no it uses the blue Scotch Lock to piggybacked on the pump wiring so i asume same as the tunit box will ask of instruction first thanks for all the replys:thumb2
so the tunit is not installed under the bonnet theninteresting, Id like to see what Timbo makes of that....no the Tunit is wired into the ECU and I'm assuming its therefore different to that unit you're looking at otherwise Tunit wouldn't have you stripping the dash out to get at the thing.
Nope, it piggy backs on the ecu. I think it tells the ecu the air temp is very cold and so ups the fuel to match, therefore making more oomph:naughtyso the tunit is not installed under the bonnet then
