Hi guys hope your all we'll not been around for a while and with winter well set in I thought I'd take the truck out and the steering is awful all I've done is spring lift the rear with spacers and wind the torsion bars up a little so I can fit the 31's but the truck now really pulls to the right when driving

I've checked the brakes for binding but they seem to ok when jacked up as the wheels turn fine but what I did notice on the drivers side is the compression rod bush completely torn in two and hanging out

It's well and truly gone, firstly would that cause the truck to pull that way as the truck seems to pull to the right and secondly what is that bush called because I've phoned euros and they don't sell a compression bush kit and also spoke to milners 4x4 and they sell rod end bushes and washers but they don't know if it's what I need

Not very helpful to be honest !!

Thanks Dave what I'm after is parts 15 and 13 on the diagram but I'm not sure what they are called and if milners sell them or is it main dealer only ?

Yes but check first that the steel is in good nick where the rod goes through. As if it's been rattling around in there it's probably opened out a bit. if so you'll need to weld in a plate or two.
Yes it will cock up your steering big time. Your hub will wandering around all over the shop.

Thanks Pete I think the collar has pulled out too the washers look ok but is it best to buy a new set of washers from milners ?

Where's the best place to get the collars from or do I not need them ?

I think the bush has just gone as the steering wasn't like that when I bought it felt nice and tight and the truck has only done like 15 miles since I bought it

I'm thinking of changing both sides aswell

some one on here said this place is pretty good . but I hav'nt ordered anthing from them yet . http://www.amayama.com/search/ all you do is put the part number from that first site I gave you and it finds the part and how much

I'd get new both sides at that price . No pint messin about. If they're not right you'll just be shredding tyres and driving in the hedge :lol

Get them too, as they go through the chassis and the old ones could have worn.
Have you got a link for them ?

.

Guys just to clarify from the original link Dave provided

Item 10 the 2 washers
Item 13 the collar
Item 15 the bushes

All this can be bought from milners £33 for both sides
Inc vat

They will be poly bush too so should feel much better when fitted

Are there any tips on how to change them ?

Are they straight forward ?

Get squirting your WD40 or similar NOW. The nut will be a barsteward and is pretty large as far as I remember.
Also the two nuts on the bottom arm are bound to be tight too. On replacement torque them up and thread lock them. poly bush will be hard compared to original nissan rubber. So less flex for offroad but more tight for on road :thumb2
