So to clarify, are you saying it is on the 25th as per original plan, if so and the bar-stewards are trying to say it is now March this typifies the governmental system in this country, it stinks, so lets show the bar-stewards that we cannot be fooled, Rick

I have emailed this Sue Smith direct with a question on this, so be interesting to see the reply, Rick

We require as many Trailbikers and 4 x 4 vehicles as possible in the carpark at Alderny House BEFORE 9.00am to prevent visitors and members parking easily. We will conduct a Rally and Protest at the highest possible volume, complete with Placards, Banners, loud hailers and advertising. (Peak District National Park Authority, Aldern House, Baslow Road, Bakewell, Derbyshire, DE45 1AE)

Attention all

I have had a reply from Sue Smith Rights of Way Officer Derbyshire County Council, I cannot copy the reply here due to silly rules, but she states "there are no immediate plans to close public rights of way" and as I was rather curt regarding 25th Jan/22nd Mar issue she has stated that regarding Chapel Gate this will be discussed at committee on the 22nd March not not 25th January as originally notified, hope this helps, but if you want to here it from the horses mouth just Email her at Rick

Im going to take a risk here as well still have a few teething troubles.

But im making the site public as of NOW

www.ukgreenlaning.org.uk

I hope it will be a possitive move and a place to gather all information to help protest against the moves to close BOATS in and around the peak district.

Anyone have problems getting in please let me know, the Protest link is locked due to a tec problem but will be sorted soon.

To get anywhere its going to need suport. :thumbs

I saw that Rick and was therefore unsure as to the validity of Friday's car park occupation :augie
I've asked the question hoping for a specific answer from Kasmin et all :nenau

yes it is all a bit vague, If the discussion has been moved to March, to my mind what would be the point in occupying the car park? Rick

So did any from this forum go? it does look as though a meeting took place but not about Chaple Gate, so a demo may have made an impact but not specifically as far as I can see, as we do not know what the meeting was about overall, so lack of specific info meant I did not go, as it is a long way on a whim, Rick

My wife gave me a reality check on much the same lines Rick, but the final straw was another 4x4 response call this morning .We were out on snow deliveries 5am Thursday on. Now the snow is melting I had a flooding call out :doh
My thanks to all that did go :clap
