As mine was built by mercedes in a mercedes factory and has lots of mercedes bits including the engine in 2002 its a fair bet ;) (hence a couple of members on here referring to it as my Kubelwagen)

Big give away too is the shared dealerships and common part numbers :thumb2

Quality german engineering + the original and best = eat my shorts lotus petal

cool as long as you realize that Mercedes have gone down hill since the w124 with poor build quality and major rust issues as well as electronic and engine issues

ask any merc owner and he will say the same :doh

althou they are now trying to bring back the good old days of the w124 the most over engineered car and probably the best merc they made :thumbs

Youre struggling now.

Proof of the pudding.

My jeep is probably the most reliable and robust car I have ever had :thumb2

My mate has just part ex'd his 18 month old merc s class for a jag simply because he fancied a change (he is loaded). Now regrets it because it was such a good car :thumb2

I had a go of an ML a couple of months ago. Out of interest rather than genuine desire to buy. It was lovely.

Have you owned many modern mercs ialong with your mistrals and troopers

i had a w124 for many years great car

but come 1996 the build quality had dropped

these 2 here both were under a year old and starting o show signs of rust and had been back for electrical problems

You can find what you want by googling, every marque has its detractors and fans to balance so not really valid.

Were both of those yours?

Mind you even if they were still irrelevant to my jeep

not mine but families :thumb2

and by the by, the c class is built in bremem , the jeep in graz, seeing as nissan for example say there are discernible differences between jap and english built cars you can work out what im saying.

this is nearly as exciting as deciding whether to have 1 sugar or two in my coffee :naughty

mr dave you take things a little to close to heart ;)

i would have a jeep if they made a 7 seat version :thumbs

but wouldnt own a new merc

the burning question is , will you still have your poosuzu in a years time , and will your opinions of it differ ?

and in complete contrast to my family & friends experience :thumb2;)

currently a c class, an ml and of course my jeep.

recent years an s class another c class and a clk.

All without exception very nice reliable trouble free cars and as you may guess repeat buyers :thumb2

Not remotely, i go entirely with each to his own and of course as you said, it all depends on your sense of humour :naughty

You said have your best shot and I think we've established your using an elderly tart from a low budget porn film trying to make good but wearing the wrong name badge :naughty:naughty

Like I said at the top, I drove loads of troopers, they were unwieldy sheds :thumb2

well at least we agree on one thing. One car that stood out from the crowd was an amazon I had a go off when I was shopping.

It was just a bit too bulky for me but I could still be tempted.

help her by eating all the chocolates before she gets to them :thumbs

thats where sheila has me , i cant eat chocolate ( im lactose intolerant ) .... so if someone buys her some , she will have to eat them herself :naughty:augie
