If I could ever find a picture of my first car it would be in sepia.... :lol :lol :lol

In fact my first car was a motorbike, a Honda 125. :nenau

cant find a decent pic, but it was a brand new Corsa at the time, 1994.

Datsun Cherry 1750 cc top of the range. got it cheap second hand for work. I could get two pair of steps two kits of tools and a fitters mate in it (tight fit).
Never let me down, chopped it in for Volvo estate, the mate now had somewhere to sit!Unless the back seats were down , then he was in the back with the tools.
Happy days
Tony

an exact match for this, on an R reg :D

Weyhey....I had one of those in a vile powder blue with the widest tyres you ever saw...real carlos Fandango material LOL

was that the fat blue of the darker glossy (maybe mettallic?)
pretty good cars, did yours have the easy to wear out camshaft ? they were problematic but reasonably easy to sort. Some solid lifters, a kent cam and a weber twin choke yeeee haaaaaa :D:D

Standard Vanguard bought it very seconhand in 1962, had a BSA Bantam before that

MY first car was a MK1 cortina. It was rotten to say the least :lol Cost me £10 and about seven endorsements, and that was before I got my licence :doh
Ahhhhh, same old same old,

Cue Daved :augie:lol

Mine was a 1981 1100cc Mk1 fiesta in fetching brown and cream, it was my Mom's old car and she gave it to me. I went through 3 second hand engines! Then i swapped it for my dads old car and he traded it in. So i then had a 1978 vauxhall chevette, which I kept for a couple of years.

God, I'm old...

..my first was like this one. Cost me £20. Sold it for £25 after a lot of fibre glass repairs and tuning the side valve engine. (LOL):augie But the back seat was just made for lurve.............

Cheeky bugger...

.... father in law worked at Wolverhampton bus depot. Used get it "quite cheap" from there. Adjusting the valves was fun - just grind a bit off the stems after grinding the seat it. Ahh. Simple stuff.

No 'spitfire underwing blue' ...not a good car colour.....sold it to my brother eventually with about 80k miles on the clock.....two weeks later a bloke stopped to say what a surprise it was to see his ex-company hack that he did 120k miles in  ....three weeks later a con-rod went through the side of the block.:doh

Never buy a car from your brother LOL:naughty
