well what can i say, after a couple of very stressfull years to say the least we were told at the end of last month that our house is once again being sold only this time we were given the correct written notice and we have until the end of july to find somewhere new  so after a long discussion of 10 minutes with the wife we decided to look for a new house in wales.

well we went down to wales twice, the first time the house had already been let :doh

how ever on the second visit we viewed a house with the landlord, a very nice chap indeed, we paid a deposit and this morning we signed the paperwork and posted it back to him,

now we just have to wait for the keys and we can move in when we want to :clap

we are moving to a little village called Kidwelly in Carmarthenshire, lots of beaches and lanes nearby :naughty

so i guess once moved i will be a member of team wales, now where do i pick up my membership card :lol:lol:lol

Awesome, better start learning you're Welsh and studying sheep then:lol:lol:thumb2

Plenty of jobs down south wales too mate.

I will dig out the team wales welies and find you a good ewe

what are the verage rent prices for maybe a two bed house?
I would love to sell mine and go rent somewhere.
and I love wales.
don't know what I would do for a job though. but to be honest after 15 years or so window cleaning I could do with a change of job too...

Start you're own business:)

Think rent prices are pretty good outside the main town/cities? But there is some right sh!tholes in south wales.

Defo plenty of openings for a welder and sign business. You'll probably get a bloody grant too as an "incomer" :thumb2
We thought about moving out to move back again so we could take advantage of the Welsh grants too, but it was just such a hassle:eek:
Send us your address and I'll pass it on to the welcome mob :sly
They'll need some readies to help ewe along :lol:lol

me and mrs j are going to surf the net later for propertys to let.
criteria.
open fire electric and water.
a drive.
and as far away from people as possible.
a small village would be nice though.
I wouldn't want to pay more than 4/450 per month.
and that would leave me 50k to build a business but doing what?
I wouldn't want another window round as the weather is always against you.
perhaps a coffee shop?
would have to sell a lot of coffee though.
a handy man.?? im very good at diy and stuff.
a 4x4 guide?
buy a field and turn it into a campsite?
will have a good think as I would realy like to leave the city but I wish I could take my house with me as its very nice but I can make anywhere nice:)

good luck steve , its about time you had some :thumb2 , hows little robyn ?
