Hi all!
while I'm waiting my engine to be overhauled, i'm started the design of the internal kit to fit the boot of the truck.
the aim is to fit kitchen, fridge, some water and a sink.
maybe a diesel parking heater, but i'm not sure yet.

here's some picture of what i've done till now.

I spent some time with the CAD in order to have a consistent project before buying and cutting some wood: in the end this saves a lot of time and gives me the possibility to try different solutions.

first step: take all the measurements of the inner space to try to model the boot. i also modeled the space of the rear seats for an additional part of this project.

then I started the real interior designing!
the idea is to have two main drawers: one for the fridge and a second telescopic drawer for the stove and some storage. behind the fridge i think i'll fit the water tank. all the remaining space is for storage.

on the sides, two wings will close the lateral storage volumes creating a complete plane at the height of the fixed windows.

i'm still developing all the assembly, but this is the idea i'd like to share with you!

the boot without the unit. a foldable table can be placed under the drawers and i'll just need to slide it out when needed.
the tank will be behind the fridge and in the side is where i'm thinking to place the heater.

the internal surface without the rear seats.
I took all these measures too because we're thinking about a way to design something in this room to be able to eat inside the truck in winter.

we're used to sleep in our tent even below 0°C, but last time having breakfast outside with -7°C was a pain in the arse!
