Hi, new member here and hoping you guys could give me a little advice. I've ran terrano's now for many years and converted them to run wvo on a two tank systems, I normally get a good run off them before I need to replace due to rust or engine failures. Anyway I purchased another about 2 years ago which only had 56k on the clock which at the time I thought it was a bargain and I would just store it until I needed it. When I picked it up it did lack power and had a bit of a whine (from turbo fairly sure) but would just work on it in my own time. Now running it I have noticed a oil leak from the crank seal clutch area also the intercooler has oil residue in it and there seams to be excessive blowby enough that it spits oil out when cap is removed, it starts off the key instantly with no misfires and there is no excessive smoke from the exhaust. I've removed the turbo and im about to order a new chra, but before I do has anyone come across this before I'm slightly concerned that it's a more serious engine issue than a turbo issue due to the excessive blowby / oil leak and power loss as the turbo looks in fairly good nick there is not a massive amount of play (although some) is there anything else I should be looking for before spending money replacing the cartridge without doing compression test? Also is turborail any good for a chra other than ordering a Chinese one, also maf sensor is bad any modifications or just replacement for this part? Would appreciate any help
