I don't think it's filter if the EML comes on ? How about TPS ?

You'd be wrong there sonny Jim but If I hadn't of had my 2004 then I'd have agreed with you

Mine was flashing EML anything over 70mph recently but until I'd owned it, it had never been ran on veg so I presumed mine had dragged all the junk through

Now I've done the fuel filter mod no more EML :thumb2

Aye, one stands corrected and generally re-educated :thumb2

Good shout but saving a fortune :thumbs

I haven't worked out the savings but jeebus it must be in the quad digits

This months for example I had 10 barrels of veggie at 13.99, that would have cost 1.46 per liter of diesel cost nearly 300 quidish but instead it's under 150 quid ish

£1.46 for derv, that's blooming expensive, I get mine for £1.29 at BP.
As everybody has said, change the filter and see what happens :thumb2

Mine did that when I was using veg so I changed the filter and put some more petrol in to thin it and job done. Also I noticed on the video that you need to change the bulbs on the back of your dash display :augie I got mine from nissan nice and cheap:thumbs if I remember correctly there are little covers over the glass part of the bulb.

Change filter and run it on diesel :thumb2
Its possible you could have a partially blocked fuel pick up point/swirl pot in the tank. The veg struggles to be pulled through especially when temps drop.

£1.46 is the V power stuff, only the best you know :thumbs

Yes about time I start mixing the veg up as the temps have really dropped off. It was 2 degrees when symptom occured (ice on top of car)

And yes, I do need to do the dash lights, just never got around to doing it,
not sure if its an easy job or not though.

Piece of cake mate just remove the part of dash that goes around clocks the the clocks themselves then you will see the small bulbs which push in and turn :thumb2

Alex - you fitted a new fuel filter yet :augie

:roflol:

oh

oh wait, you're being serious, he'll get one of the techs at work to do it :lol

Was about to say the same:lol come on Paff you don't think Alex would get his hands dirty do you:doh:lol

Im going quite purple and about to fall over unconcious holding my breathe to see if its fixed yet.

*drumroll* :naughty

She's all good! She's gone from 60mph to 90mph :thumb2

We switched the maf amp on and it restricted it immediately (shows how low the power was) I will be setting it up tomorrow now

AAa Whhaaat, clarification please Alex, Rick

All good rick :thumb2

The power loss we left on test drive on my old maf was over boost too! Have to turn engine off to reset after turning boost down :D

But yeah, new maf, new fuel filter and she's running great.

5 and 3/4 turns seems to be the max, any more and she pops into limp mode
