Go from then end of the air box I.e opposite side from the maf straight through wing:thumbs

Has to go from the outside curved part as if you go from the middle the filter won't do anything.

I think your going to have to stick a tube along it and direct it to the wing. Wide as possible to reduce bottlenecking flow. hard to explain but I can draw a pic when I am back from work.

Or relocate the washer bottle, Maybe fit a mkII in the area the mkII goes, if theres space.

Yeh, just realised it cant come out the bottom :doh

washer bottle is in a shit placed to :lol, although i can get behind it

I'm thinking of getting a straight through airbox like a bmc cda or piper cross viper, then going through wing

This is the one i got off ebay, It wont fit with out modding it.
The conection to the airbox is wrong so you will still have to blank it off and put a new bit on it. It also only goes half way up the windscreen, but then, thinking about it if the waster was to the top of the screen you aint driving it, your sailing it. :lol

But if u do what I did buy a k&n 57I induction kit get tired of the noise and fit it inside the air box u can go from the end according to 1975_timbo the air box is fine up 2 175bhp its that small plastic ducting that stops the engine breathing that's y I welded in a new pipe which is 3"dia to help it breath cold air better:thumbs

yep that would work, Just saying it doesn't on standard air filters

I'm going to get a closed induction kit,fit that to airflow meter and go straight out the end through inner wing and out the outer wing. Then I'm going to the powerflow exhaust place in town and get a 3" stainless pipe bent to go along wing and up A pillar

Ah stop your fussin' take it up the inside :sly:naughty Then scoop on the roof. Save all this palava and costs about 3 shillings :lol

how do i fix to the a pillar ??

this is the only problem I can see

If you peel back the rubber round the windscreen you'll see a couple of fixing points you can get onto :thumbs
I did my old petrol one with a stainless exhaust pipe up the A post that way :D
There's some pics and a thread somewhere :lol
