under £100 and proper silicon and aluminum job

I'm just wondering how to get on to airbox as its a long oval type connector where that plastic pipe goes from inner wing to airbox. could cut that plastic pipe and go from that, or i have to get onto the airbox somehow ...

how would you blank it ? stick a bit of plastic over the hole on inside ?

and how would you attach the round tube securely ? cut a hole, insert the tube just inside and fiberglass it ??

I followed what pete did, I riveted blanking plate and tube on and sealed with tigerseal.

no pics of mine under the bonnet but can take some tomorrow.

it's very simple, I came out of the opposite side as I ran the hose to the snorkel in a different direction.

Hold on didnt some one find a proper snorkle for the T2 some where for less than that its on here some where but the search isnt doing well i also saved it on my desk top il check tomorrow

about 120 euros's delivered

But that's plastic and unsure of mouldings and quality, also i exchanged emails and it was designed for navara d22, so I'm unsure if it will connect striaght up to the airbox on the terry :nenau

I'm thinking it will be a stronger and better job out of silicon and aly pipe, plus its a proper bespoke job that would be fun to do

Actually, looking at how you did this, i could just get a 76mm o/d pipe and slot it, bend it to fit like this, and seal it with some decent silicon shite like "evo stick- serious stuff" that i've used to bond metal a few times, its like welding but flexible lol

'kin-gay BS pump is in the way, so will have to go out bottom of airbox straight through wing, if thats possible ?

Don't think you can go from the bottom, Whats that water container front of the airbox?
