Well replaced the water pump now need a temperature gauge sensor . The small one on the thermostat housing with a spade connector . Looked on the net they all seem to list the management one and not the one i need . Any ideas ? Are they a dealer part ?

I did originally order from that seller over Christmas but part never arrived from Poland . they refunded me . that was the only one i could find . even on ebay they have the drop down menu to identify part to vehicle but all come up with no match :nenau

the pictures just seem to be for illustration purposes and not the actual part

not a problem at all mate . thank you for the reply :thumb2

If it is just the terminal broken off, rather than the sensor has gone faulty, you can fairly easily solder a wire onto it, and fit a spade terminal on that.

Mine also decided to part company just after I did my water pump, and after I struggled to easily find a replacement, I just used the Dremel to clean up the rivet that originally held the spade on, and then soldered a short wire directly onto it. I used a cable tie, and fixed the wire back onto the hexagonal head of the sensor, to stop it vibrating loose, and then put a spade on it. Once all joined back up, I folded the cable and tied it to the wires on the other sensor.

The actual sensor unit is duff . temp gauge showing half even when cold . When disconnected goes down to 0 . dave

ask CNCFabs, he may have a spare to get you going till you source a brand new one perhaps?

I'm sure you could get one from another Nissan vehicle and not just terrano,

They are common across nissan brands the sunny , x- trail that i know of but just finding the correct one seems to be the problem . made some inquiries over the weekend and some have asked for the part number to cross match :nenau
