Maybe I should get a Terrano ???

Entered a Trial competition on Sunday basically 10 gates (canes stuck in the ground) that you had to drive through with out touching or stopping.
I was the biggest car there by a long way it was a bit like they had row boats and I had the local ferry, I was allowed a shunt (backup) once at each gate to allow for size but ended up doing 9 point turns at most gates ending up position 9 out of 10 and only got that because number 10 left early.

Do not know why but kept thinking of this thread whilst I was there, was good but defiantly not for a Patrol.

Kind regards

Russell.

Nice bit of mud there bud :thumbs

Yeh the LWB Trols turn like a battleship :lol (bigger than a Discovery).

The length is one reason I like the winch bumper when offroading - I can take out foliage when turning a tight corner without damaging my girl :D

That'll be karma getting ya for slagging off our old girls :kissy :p

Know a few who do Trial competitions & love them as it's a good day out:thumb2 now if you had a Terrano you could have got through the gates no probs:p

Love it....!
Most of these trials courses are built for short wheel base jobbies, I used to trial an 80"S1 landy with V8 mill, they are the perfect tool for this fun, anything bigger will struggle through the gates.
The trols are awesome off road......when I grow up I`'ll have one......maybe...:thumb2

SWB trol is good and two wheel drive and diff lock will allow the arse end to spin round pretty damn quick :sly

My cousin used to trial his series 2 and he used to take me along with him.
I was only 14 at the time but I got the off road bug at an early age.
Not about winning but the taking part. As long as you enjoyed yourself that's all that matters :thumb2
