Parked in Sainsburys's tonight next to a Terano first time I have seen one in the flesh so to speak. I assumed that as they are 2.7/3.0 engine and 7 seaters that they where similar to Patrols but how wrong I was, what funny looking cars they are ! sorry if upset anybody but honestly they are disproportionally narrow and look so wrong no wonder they fall over greenlining.
They look small next to Patrol but the length and height of the car needs more width most of the back is taken up by spare wheel.
I know I should not speak bad of the Terano as lots of people on here seem to like them but 2 hours on and I am still chuckling to my self when I think of it.

Yes the Terrano is slim unlike the fatty Patrol's:lol But TBH it can be a great thing as it makes them nice & easy to park on road like a car but off road you can fit through tighter areas much more easily than other wider 4x4's:thumb2

i dunno, they dont look that bad

I think it must be the spare that amused me, as that one looks ok but the spare wheel looks so big.

Are you on drugs? Or just really not got alot going on in life? Sorry if I offend you

Narrow means they can go where fatties cant:D.
Having said that mines far from slim now:naughty

had both patrol and t2. t2 is much more nimble, parking and laning.

where are these that have fell over then or are you just trollin' in your 'trol? ;)

now mitsi delicas, now they look flipable.

Well if you are going to insult the Terrano, at least spell it correctly, one post, two spelling errors of Terrano...:doh

Doesn't bother me...
I've got a Maverick...:thumb2

:lol:lol

yup, they are supposed to be slim, just like the Fourtrak - for towing through hedge ways and gates etc

Woah now, let's not kill old Russell now, a bit more abuse perhaps though :naughty

I think the Terranos look fine myself to be honest. Most trucks are gonna look narrow next to a Trol though as they are very wide... baby got back! :thumbs

when i took my y61 thru an auto wash, found its standard tyres were catching the
guide rails on both sides, oops, fortunately the mechanism cleared the truck.

miss its comfort, but terrano is fine, the 4 pot looked a bit lost in space in an engine
bay designed for a 6! mind looked even bigger hole when lump was on garage floor
for head gasket failure and 3 cracked pistons :(

Wheelbase (mm) 2650
Track rear (mm) 1430
Track front (mm) 1455
Y61
Wheelbase (mm) 2970
Track rear (mm) 1615
Track front (mm) 1605

So, there appears to be around 185mm additional track on the Trol.
